Supply Chain, Inventory and Fulfillment Operations

The Planning and Operations teams support our business by delivering to our customers the high-quality products they want and need. Across the team, a focus on our customers, continuous improvement and creative problem solving is a must.

The Planning team partners with our merchants to forecast and buy items to stock our warehouse, purchasing nearly $300 million worth of product each year. The team also partners with our dropship vendors to secure the product we need by providing sales forecasts. They monitor sales performance to make additional purchases or manage the product out of the assortment profitably.

The Quality Assurance team develops and monitors product quality standards so that we can provide the quality of products our customers expect.  They review customer ratings and reviews and do regular quality checks of our products to make improvements when needed.

  • Quality Assurance Product Manager

Our Fulfillment Center located in St. Cloud, Minnesota provides us with a competitive advantage. Our center allows us to secure products that can be scarce or are high velocity and the center prides itself on delivering incredible service and volumes during holiday. Shipping out over two million packages, the team works with their partners in Inventory and Supply Chain to ensure it is always meeting customer needs.

The Transportation team works with our carrier partners to ensure that our products are getting to our Fulfillment Center from our vendors (inbound) as well as that our packages get to our customers on time and without damage (outbound). They optimize our carrier network to balance the cost of shipping with time in transit and make adjustments continuously as the seasons change.

The Dropship and Vendor Operations team works as a liaison between our business and vendor partners. The Dropship Operations team works closely with our merchants, dropship vendors and fulfillment solutions partner to ensure that our dropship product customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. They make sure our vendors understand how important our customer experience is to us and that they deliver the same level of service that we do from our own Fulfillment Center. Vendor Operations manages our vendor handbook and guidelines and helps our vendors understand our requirements to do business with us.
